On October 23, the Belarusian Cultural Center for Spiritual Rebirth hosted a Forum of Responsible Business dedicated to the practical implementation of the principles of sustainable development.
The Forum brought together representatives of government agencies, international structures, the scientific community and large businesses to share experiences and open dialogue, and to find the best solutions to strengthen corporate responsibility.
The key event of the Forum was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the United Nations Population Fund and the UN Global Compact Network in Belarus.
The event included a panel discussion on sustainability trends in Belarus and the world, the role of business and the UN Global Compact in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as two plenary sessions.
The ProLiv Company also presented its environmental program at a session on the cases of Belarusian business in the field of sustainable development.
After the event, all participants of the Forum of Responsible Business were given the opportunity to visit the crypt of the Temple of All Saints with a guided tour by an experienced guide.
